Kelly Clarkson's baby joy has arrived! Taking to Twitter on Thursday morning to share the happy news with her 10 million fans, the singer posted this birth announcement:

That's right -- it's a boy! Kelly and husband Brandon Blackstock's firstborn daughter, River Rose, is now big sister to a brother named Remington.

Kelly Clarkson has had it tough during her two pregnancies. Last November she opened up about the poorly named phenomenon known as morning sickness. She told CBS This Morning. "I'm familiar with all-day sickness. I have to get IVs and fluids because I get so dehydrated. It's really bad."

Thank goodness those days have passed now that Kelly has given birth!

It sounds to me like Kelly's baby boy name pick fits right in line with his sister's name -- a "sibset" you might say. It was just a couple of months ago I first heard about looking at how a family of names go together, but it seems to me River and Remington flow rather well.

I do wonder sometimes how parents of kids with names that start with the same letter don't get tongue twisted all the time. My two boys have very different names and I still can't seem to call them the right thing.

Kelly is also stepmom to Brandon's two children from a previous relationship -- Savannah and Seth. Obviously she's already had plenty of practice with similar-sounding names!

Do your kids' names have any similarities or theme to them?
