The wait is finally over for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - as well as for their legions of fans!

The couple welcomed a baby girl this morning, later introducing her to the world on the steps of St. Mary's Hospital.

Royal watchers can finally breathe a happy sigh of relief now that the fevered anticipation surrounding the arrival of the little princess has passed. There is, however, one very important matter left to be determined: Her name!

Kate and William have no doubt already picked their perfect baby name, but they've yet to make the official announcement. All we know for now is that she'll go by the hefty title, "Her Royal Highness Princess ?? of Cambridge."

We likely won't have to wait too long for the big baby name reveal - the couple announced their son George Louis Alexander's name two days after his birth in 2013. In the meantime, though, here are the top contenders for the family's new arrival.

So, which of these names gets your vote?

Of course, there's always a slight - make that very slight - chance that Kate and William will break with tradition and go with something totally unexpected. British bookmaker William Hill puts the odds at 500/1 that they'll name their daughter Taylor (as in Swift). Had the baby been a boy, the odds were the same that that they'd go with Kanye (as in West).

I wouldn't hold my breath for the announcement of Her Royal Highness Princess Taylor. I can't wait to find out what name they do pick, though!

Meet the new princess!
