The couple are the proud parents of a baby boy, the reality star confirmed this morning. "Mother and son are both doing well," says a brief statement on her web site.
The happy news comes just hours after Kim, 35, took to Twitter to hint that she was more than ready for her pregnancy to be over: "Ready whenever you are lol," she wrote last night, sharing a selfie of her bare bump.
We're still awaiting further details - including the baby's name. That could be because Kim and Kanye are still deciding on a name for North West's little brother. A source close to the star-powered pair very recently revealed, "They are trying to narrow it down, but it's been really hard. They are hoping when she gives birth, the right one will jump out at them."
One thing we can be relatively certain of is that, despite the rampant rumors to the contrary, the baby won't be named South West. That's not to say they've ruled out going in another direction, though.
Kim herself admitted as much in October, saying, “I do like the name Easton. Easton West. I don’t think my husband likes that name, but I do like it.”
A look back at Kim's second pregnancy...
This pregnancy hasn't been the easiest one for the reality star, who has been dealing with preeclampsia and placenta accreta, high-risk condition that happens when the placenta grows too deeply into the uterine wall. Her baby boy was also breech into her 9th month, when he was successfully turned head-down via an External Cephalic Version - a procedure Kim described as "probably more painful than childbirth."
Kim, who has called pregnancy "the worst experience of my life," recently revealed that she's gained 60 pounds this time around. "I’m fat as f**k and my cankles are out of control!" the clearly frustrated mom vented on her web site earlier this week.
All of that hardship is over now, though - at least until her next pregnancy.
Yes, it sounds like Kim and Kanye are already thinking about adding yet another baby to their growing brood!
"I'm just thinking about number three," Kim told her mom Kris Jenner on a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. "Like if I have three, then that's when I think your body really starts to slip."
