The Clinton family has one more reason to celebrate this Christmas!

Chelsea Clinton announced today that she and her husband Marc Mezvinsky are expecting their second child.

The expectant mom shared the very happy news on Twitter, posting a photo of their 16-month-old daughter Charlotte sitting in her PJs and reading a book titled, "Big Sisters are the Best." (See it here!)

"Next summer, Charlotte is going to be a big sister! Feeling very blessed & grateful this holiday season," Chelsea, 35, captioned the sweet shot.

Bill and Hillary Clinton were quick to congratulate their daughter and son-in-law on the baby on the way.

“Your dad and I could not be happier for you, Marc and Charlotte. We’re so excited to meet our second grandchild!” presidential hopeful Hillary Tweeted.

The former President, meanwhile, added, “Christmas comes early! Hillary and I are thrilled for Chelsea, Marc and Charlotte’s growing family in 2016!”

As for Chelsea and Marc, they are no doubt thrilled to be adding to their little family. Earlier this year, the author and activist opened up about the moment when it hit her that she was a mother.

"I think probably when I first held my daughter, right after she was born. I felt like it was the moment I'd been waiting my whole life for, and it just felt even more miraculous than I ever could have imagined. I never knew I could be so grateful to anyone as I was grateful to the doctors and nurses who took such good care of me and little baby Charlotte.... It was kind of awe and gratitude at such an exponential level and somewhere in that alchemy I realized, oh my gosh, I'm a mom."

And despite their very busy schedules, she says that her own mom and dad make plenty of time to fulfill their duties as doting grandparents: "They are so interested in everything about her — getting to know her and being part of her life and part of her daily route — so it’s not just checking in once in a while, but checking in every day to see how she’s doing."
