posted in CelebritiesFor a period of time, Victoria Beckham saw being the mother of four boys as her future. The designer, who has a gorgeous bunch of kids with husband David Beckham, just recently opened up about the ultrasound mistake that happened when she was pregnant with daughter Harper, who is now 3.
"I was told when I had my scan that I was having another boy at first," the mother of 16-year-old Brooklyn, 12-year-old Romeo and 10-year-old Cruz, 10 recently explained.
The former Spice Girls singer added sweetly, "I felt so lucky to be pregnant, so whether Harper was going to be a boy or a girl I felt very blessed."
"Harper loves football," she went on to say with a laugh. "It’s like a dagger going into my heart! As much as she is girly, she’s a tomboy as well."
As for how she and David try not to indulge their children too much despite having both fame and wealth on their side, Victoria Beckham explained, “None of the kids have ever been spoiled, other than the way that we love them. They’re really happy kids. There’s always laughter in the house."
When asked about the possibility of baby five Posh firmly said "No," before adding "I’ve got four! I feel like I’ve done my bit."
I can't quite imagine what it would be like to find out baby's sex with an ultrasound and then later be told the initial look was incorrect. Talk about a roller coaster!
It sounds like David an Victoria wanted to experience having a daughter, and it's been so sweet to see Harper grow. Much to my own mother's disappointment I too turned out to be more of a tomboy, and only made it through one session of ballet lessons before trading slippers in for soccer cleats.
And then I had two sons. Poor woman will probably never get to buy tutus and frilly bits to her heart's desire.
