Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge is 5 weeks old today, and to mark the occasion Kensington Palace released a series of new royal family portraits.
The sweet shots, which show baby Charlotte clad all in white and getting snuggles from her big brother George, were shared on Twitter today.
This isn't the first time we've seen the tiny princess - her parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, briefly showed off their new addition on the steps of St. Mary's hospital in London a couple of days after her May 2 birth. This is, however, our first ever glimpse of Charlotte and 21-month-old George together.
Admit it: That shot of George planting a kiss on his baby sister is over-the-top cute!
Interestingly, the photos of the two tiny heirs weren't snapped by an official royal photographer, but by their doting mama. Kensington Palace reports that the pictures "were taken by The Duchess in mid-May at Anmer Hall in Norfolk."
Kate and the kids have understandably been keeping a low profile in the week's since Charlotte's arrival, staying at the country house in Anmer rather than in London.
“Going back to Anmer was the moment they felt they could really breathe after the media frenzy at the hospital and Kensington Palace," reveals a source. "Anmer is their safe haven. They love the house so much. Kensington Palace will always be their main base, especially in the future and when the kids start schools, but right now Anmer suits their needs. It’s private, away from prying eyes and their absolute dream home."
Kate and William do have one big event on the family calendar, though: The princess' christening.
The Palace recently revealed that Charlotte will be christened on Sunday, July 5, at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham
