Want to find the funny in fatherhood? Just go follow actor Ryan Reynolds on Twitter.

You may have already known that the Deadpool star is one of the sexiest men alive, but were you aware that he's also pretty hilarious? Particularly when it comes to his observations on fatherhood.

Now, to be clear, if you're searching for sentimental tributes and inspiring quotes about being a dad, you might want to steer clear of Ryan's Twitter feed. However, if side-splitting "deep thoughts" and sarcastic confessions are up your alley, Ryan's Tweets will definitely keep you - and the rest of his 2 million-plus followers - entertained.

Since the Vancouver-born star and his wife Blake Lively welcomed their daughter James in December 2014, he's offered up plenty of hilarious observations about parenthood in interviews, too.

There was the time Ryan poked fun at "dumb" celebrity baby names, noting, “In the spectrum of weird celebrity baby names, I don’t really feel like we’re breaking new ground here. I didn’t call her Summer Squash Meadowlark. I thought of going with all the letters silent in her name and it’d just be pronounced [long breath out]. Brought to you by the department of 'Giving Dumb Celebrities Ideas.'"

He also recalled the day that Blake delivered baby James: “I was there for the conception of the child, so I thought the least I could do is be there in the delivery room. I’m not going to lie to you… I saw things. But, amazing! I was just a terrible coach. There was a lot of clapping. I went for a couple of high fives, but she did not.”

And admitted that his daughter much prefers mom to dad: "There’s an unfair advantage there. It turns out that breasts are actually a life support system and the child seems to gravitate towards the breasts. I’m just the breastless a–hole wandering around the room and getting in her sight line every once in a while. All about mom. I am dead to her. That’s her first words, ironically. 'You’re dead to me.'"

So, just in time for Father's Day, here are some of Ryan's funniest "dad Tweets." Take a look - but first a friendly warning: if you're offended by curse words, look away now.

I love it.

While Ryan clearly takes a tongue-in-cheek approach to his parenting confessions, he definitely does have a sentimental side when it comes to his little girl.

"I love being a father,” he's admitted. “I don’t want to be one of those celebs who talks about being a parent like they’re the only person in the world who has ever managed to conceive and bear a child…. It’s the most common thing in the world but the most profound. It’s super fun. I just love it.”

Ryan and Blake are awaiting the arrival of baby #2, so I'm sure he'll have many more stories to tell in the months to come.

Happy Father's Day!
