Hugh Grant to welcome baby four in just four short years

Congratulatory wishes are once again in order for Hugh Grant! The man who went decades before welcoming his first child is very soon going to be dad to four.

This week it was confirmed the actor is once again expecting a baby with television producer Anna Eberstein. This will be their second child. Their first, son John Mungo, is now 3-years-old.

Here's where things get a little unusual with Hugh Grant's children. His other two were delivered by ex-girlfriend Tinglan Hong. Their daughter, Tabitha, is now 4, and their son, Felix, is 2-years-old. In chronological order, Hugh's children were born by Tinglan, then Anna, then Tinglan again, and soon Anna will give birth to baby four.

Us Weekly reports that Hugh and Anna "are not married nor confirmed to be dating, the two are very close." In 2014 he said of her, "We are very good friends and she’s a very good mother."

Is one to infer then, that the actor and Anna are choosing to expand their brood despite not being in a relationship?

Being dad to four is a big change for Hugh, who didn't become a first-time father until after he turned 50. He previously said of how the change has affected his life, "It's made me much nicer. One of my kids is very obsessed with saying goodbye -- he's only 2 -- to everyone, including the man who delivers the groceries, whoever he might be. He has to have a hug and a kiss, and I find that very charming."

There are, no doubt, a bevy of adorable hugs and kisses happening in Hugh's life now!

Although I only have two children, I feel a bit as though I can relate to such a rapidly expanding family. My two sons are just 20 months apart, and it felt very much like we jumped into full-on parenthood with both feet. It's been great overall, but there have been a few sink-or-swim periods where things were a little crazy.
