When it comes to baby names, those famous folks in Hollywood never disappoint.
In recent years we've seen the good (Hazel and Kaya are a couple of our favorite picks), the bad (Bodhi Ransom and Summer Rain, to name a couple) to the downright strange (Pilot Inspektor, Diva Thin Muffin, Zuma Nesta Rock, Jermajesty... the list goes on).
Whether we're stealing them or panning them, celebrity parents' baby name picks never fail to get us all talking. And the year gone by proved to be no exception.
BabyCenter polled a group of over 1,100 moms to find out which Hollywood names got the seal of approval this year - and which ones fell far short of the mark.
First, let's take a look at the five favorite celebrity baby names of 2015...
Isaiah Michael: Carrie Underwood admits that Isaiah wasn't her first choice for her baby boy.
The singer, who is married to Mike Fisher, says, “Christian was on the list too. That was when Fifty Shades of Grey was coming out, like right around that time, and I’m like, ‘Christian’s off the list, babe.'” (REX USA)
Brooklyn Elisabeth: Why did Nick and Vanessa Lachey pick Brooklyn for baby #2? That's where she was conceived!
“Not in Brooklyn, per se, but we felt the Upper West Side didn’t have a good ring to it and we wanted to pay an homage to New York," says dad. (PR Photos)
Atticus James: The name Atticus shot into the spotlight this year thanks to Harper Lee's controversial novel, Go Set a Watchman. The book turned some parents off of Atticus for good, but BabyCenter moms and dads seem to love Jennifer Love Hewitt and Brian Hallisay's baby name pick. (REX USA)
Chanel Nicole: Coco Austin says that she and her husband Ice-T settled on the name Coco "10 years ago."
"I want her to have her own identity," reveals the new mom. "I don't want people to look at her like, 'Oh, you got to be like your mom!' That's why I don't want to name her Coco. Like, little Coco. So, I went close to that, to Chanel, like Coco Chanel, of course."(REX USA)
Charlotte Elizabeth Diana: Prince William and Duchess Catherine picked a timeless name for their little princess, and won hearts with her sentimental middle names, too.

And now, the five that ended up at the very bottom of the list...
Elsie Otter: Zooey Deschanel and Jacob Pechenik's baby name pick reflects their love of... well, sea otters.
“I love otters. My husband really loves otters. She better love [otters]. We don’t know yet; she’s only 3 months old," Zooey says. "She’s going to love them…we just really like the name Elsie, and then we both love otters. They’re really sweet, they’re also smart, they use tools to keep their favorite tools, they hold hands while they sleep. There’s so many amazing things about otters." (REX USA)
Saint West: Would it be South West? Key West? Wild West? Speculation as to North West's baby brother's name ran wild, but in the end Kim Kardashian and Kanye West went with Saint. (Gregory Pace/REX Shutterstock)
Jagger Snow: Her firstborn is named Bronx Mowgli, so it comes as no surprise that Ashlee Simpson chose an unusual name for her baby girl, too. She and her new husband Evan Ross welcomed daughter Jagger Snow in July. (PR Photos)
Sailor Gene: Explaining her baby name inspiration, Liv Tyler says, "It took a minute to figure out what his name was going to be but one of my favorite movie's is Wild At Heart, the David Lynch movie, and the characters are Sailor and Lula."
It was a popular pick this year, at least in celebrity circles: Kristin Cavallari named her new daughter Saylor, while Bristol Palin chose a slightly different spelling, Sailor, for her baby girl. (PR Photos)
Bowie Ezio: Zoe Saldana & Marco Perego's twin boys Bowie Ezio and Cy Aridio were actually born in November 2014, but the couple didn't reveal their names until this year.
She says they faced some family pressure when it came to baby names: "My husband is very Italian and I am very Latina so every day we have messages from our parents that are just like, 'Oh, it should be Rocco, Giovanni, Luigi, Antonio Ramon Jose. And you're like, 'Oh my god, people, chill.'"(REX USA)
I'd have to agree with most of these picks, though Chanel probably wouldn't make my personal list of favorites. As for the least popular picks, I must admit that I love Zooey Deschanel's daughter's name, Elsie. There's something sweet and old fashioned about it. Her middle name choice, Otter? Not so much. I mean, I love elephants, but that doesn't mean I want to name my kid after one.
BabyCenter's Global Editor-in-Chief Linda Murray thinks that the survey results say a lot about moms' baby naming style: “This year’s survey shows moms prefer conventional names," she says. "A little quirkiness is okay, but when celebs choose truly unique names that break new ground, moms give them the thumbs down.”
