BabyCenter7 is a blog series that features celebrity parents you know and love answering the same seven questions with their own personal spin.

Ice skating season is officially here and we thought it was the perfect time to check in with one of our favorite skating legends, Kristi Yamaguchi. With her husband of 15 years, ice hockey player Bret Hedican, the gold medal Olympian and DWTS mirror ball winner has two daughters, Emma, 10, and Keara, 12.

Since both of their parents made their careers on the ice, of course the Hedican girls can skate. But they're more interested in scoring soccer goals. And that's just fine with their parents.

When she's not watching her girls charging down the pitch, Kristi makes time for her Always Dream Foundation whose mission is to inspire underserved children thorough innovative reading programs. They now serve 17 schools and over 1,600 students in California, Arizona and Hawaii.

The busy mom is also hard at work on Tsu.ya, her line of workout clothes, when she's not practicing and performing. Watch her this Sunday on ABC hosting Pandora Holiday Celebrations on Ice with Olympians Meryl Davis, Charlie White and Brian Boitano and read on for her must-see TV list and her favorite holiday season stress-reduction techniques.

qa_q1 Motherhood is ...

qa_a ... the greatest gift I've ever had.

qa_q2 My secret talent is...

qa_a ... making a mean fried rice. At least my kids think so!

qa_q3 My parents were right about ...

qa_a ... giving back to the community. We are fortunate for what we have and we can make our communities better and stronger by supporting it. Whether it's through church, a non-profit organization or schools, there's no greater reward than giving back.

qa_q4 My favorite comfort food is ...

qa_a ... noodles with marinara or meat sauce. It was my go-to meal before I skated in competition and shows. We still have it about once a week at home.

qa_q5 My favorite recent family moment is ...

qa_a ... about a week ago our daughters each played in a soccer tournament. Eight games in two days. But it was a great family sports weekend and so fun to watch them play their hearts out. We were proud mommy and daddy.

qa_q6 If I can't have world peace, I'll take ...

qa_a ... giving every child the chance to achieve their dreams by providing the early literacy skills needed to build a foundation for academic success.

qa_q7 When my kids fall asleep, I ...

qa_a ...  chill out and decompress while reading -- Promise of a Pencil by Adam Braun was my last book -- or watching Grey's Anatomy, The Good Wife, Hawaii Five-0 and Game of Thrones!
