One little photo is kicking off Kate Winslet pregnancy gossip

It only takes one little touch of a hand to a belly for rumors Kate Winslet is pregnant to kick off on the web. The actress, who is already mom to three, has fans and gossip hounds all riled up after an exchange with Cate Blanchett was caught on camera.

In a moment shared with Oscar winner Brie Larson, Cate and Kate look thrilled to see on another, and at one point it looks like Cate reaches out to touch Kate's stomach.

Kate Winslet pregnancy rumors

I was all prepared to align myself with the naysayers on this one, but goodness -- that most certainly is a look of surprise and joy on Cate's face! It's exactly the way you would hope a friend would look when you've got big news to reveal, but I'm still not sure I'm buying the whole thing. Maybe they're just friends who pat each others' bellies? Checking on each others' Spanx?

I not only suspect Cate's gesture might have simply been a reach for a hug that went awry, I'm also not so sure it's healthy to speculate over such a little thing. Next paparazzi will be hounding Kate to see if there's even the slightest hint of a bump growing, and the 40-year-old's size will be heavily scrutinized. We don't really want to put that kind of pressure on a woman, do we?

Of course, if it is baby four on the way for Kate (which would be a little brother or sister for Bear, the star's son with husband Ned Rocknroll, and a half-sibling for Mia and Joe), I wish her nothing but the best. I love hearing from Kate, and it would be a joy to see her welcome another child.

The Academy Awards are about recognizing the year's best and brightest in the film-making industry. Let's be honest, though: Most of us tune in for the fashion.

If you did happen to catch the red carpet portion of last night's Oscars festivities, it definitely did not disappoint. Some years it feels like a sea of black satin, but this time around the celebrity set made a statement with eye-catching colors and textures.

There were so many jaw-dropping gowns to fall in love with, including the ones chosen by a few expectant moms in attendance. Emily Blunt, Chrissy Teigen and Anne Hathaway all looked positively stunning, proving yet again that pregnancy is drop dead gorgeous.

Take a look at these dresses and tell us which one you like best.

Emily Blunt, who is expecting her second child with her husband John Krasinski, walked the red carpet solo, and was also a presenter later on in the evening. She was pretty in pink, wearing a rose-hued, embellished Prada gown.

Model mom-to-be Chrissy Teigen has been having fun dressing up her bump throughout her pregnancy, and last night was of course no exception. Accompanying her husband John Legend to the big event, Chrissy was stunning in an intricately detailed red Marchesa dress that showed off her beautiful pregnancy curves. She later changed into a black sequin gown before hitting the Vanity Fair Oscars party.

While we didn't see Oscar-winner Anne Hathaway on the red carpet, she also put in an appearance at the VF event. Her due date fast approaching, the always lovely star stole the spotlight in a black strapless dress with a sheer, studded overlay.

It's hard to pick a favorite, but I think my vote goes to Chrissy's Marchesa gown. It fit her perfectly - perhaps because it looks like she may have been sewn into it! - and was just so glamorous.
