Chrissy Teigen isn't yet a mom, but she already has plans for who she will and won't hire to take care of her and husband John Legend's children.

During an interview at Lauren Conrad's New York Fashion Week show on Wednesday night, the 29-year-old opened up about her number one parenting rule by sharing, "No hot nannies, drivers or maids. It's an ongoing joke in my house. I do want kids one day, so it's something that I have to think about.

"But the rule is no hot nannies," she reiterated before adding, "I trust John, but you never know with these men."

In case you're wondering if anyone already working for Chrissy Teigen felt a little insulted at the discussion, she clarified, "It's too late for me though, because I have a hot assistant – she is cute."

"These days, it doesn't really matter what you look like – sometimes cabin fever just strikes and men do the do. I have to keep an eye on my assistant [Christine]. No, damn," she added. "Christine, you're done!"

In light of the rumors surrounding Ben Affleck (and the histories of Jude Law, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ethan Hawke and more), it's easy to see what Chrissy is saying, but at the same time it doesn't sit too well with me.

For one, the best candidate for the job should get the position regardless of their looks. Isn't who can best care for the children really the top priority? And secondly, I find her position insulting to John and "these men" she speaks of. I can't argue affairs aren't a problem, but men aren't the only ones who make bad choices.

Most likely Chrissy said what she did at least partly in jest, but her words open up a topic I think is worthy of discussion.

If you were to hire a nanny, would how he or she looks influence your decision? Do you think it's a disadvantage for someone who wants to nanny to be good looking? Weigh in by leaving a comment below.
