BabyCenter7 is
a blog series that features celebrity parents you know and love answering the same seven questions with their own personal spin.

THE GRINDER: L-R: Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Fred Savage, Hana Hayes, William Devane, Connor Kalopsis and Rob Lowe in the series premiere episode of THE GRINDER airing Tuesday, Sept. 29 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. ©2015 Fox Broadcasting Co. Cr: Ray Mickshaw/FOX.

There are a couple of very good reasons why actress Mary Elizabeth Ellis (@meellisday) is one lucky lady.

First, she stars in The Grinder, the much-anticipated new comedy series starring Rob Lowe and Fred Savage. Mary Elizabeth plays Debbie Sanderson the wife of Fred’s character, a small-town lawyer whose famous brother (played by Rob Lowe - a.k.a. pretty much the sexiest man of all time) moves home and joins the family law firm after his show was canceled. There's been ton of talk about this show over the past few weeks, so we are excited to finally get to see it.

Here’s another reason: She happens to be married to Charlie Day (Horrible Bosses, The Lego Movie) her co-star on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and together they have an adorable Disney-loving 3-year-old, Russell Wallace Day.

We imagine life is full of hilariousness with those guys around so we asked the Mississippi native to let us in on her favorite family moment and what she does first thing when Russell falls asleep.

qa_q1 Motherhood is ...

qa_a ... teaching me to become a more patient, loving, tuned-in person through VERY challenging situations, but also lots of sweet kiddo kisses.

qa_q2 My secret talent is...

qa_a ... turning literally any moment into a song.

qa_q3 My parents were right about ...

qa_a ... telling me to always "be true to myself" and, actually, lots of other stuff but don't tell them I said that.

qa_q4 My favorite comfort food is ...

qa_a ... rocky road ice cream. There's nothing better for a sore throat, though I'm pretty sure that's not scientifically proven.

qa_q5 My favorite recent family moment is ...

qa_a ... at Disneyland in the Small World ride when my 3-year-old son leaned over to my 2-year-old godson and kissed him on the arm because he was so happy.

qa_q6 If I can't have world peace, I'll take ...

qa_a ... a world in which everyone is full of healthy food.

qa_q7 When my kids fall asleep, I ...

qa_a ...  exhale.
