Amanda Seyfried is hoping she'll join the motherhood club very soon. The actress, who has been dating fellow star Justin Long since 2013, has opened up about how she's itching to start a family -- and it's safe to say she's got a bad case of baby fever.
"I keep feeling like my eggs are dying off," the 29-year-old Les Miserables beauty told Marie Claire UK. "I need to get on it. I want a child. Badly. I want to be a mother, badly. That's what I feel. I've been feeling it for like, two years."

Luckily, she's got a professional on hand to talk those feelings through with.
"It's coping with life. I've been told to not talk about it, but [anxiety] is so very common," the Ted 2 actress explained of her pro-therapy approach. "I just think, you go to your doctor about heart problems, or an eye doctor if you have an infection, you have to take care of yourself. Mental health is so segregated, it sucks. You don't necessarily have to have something chemically wrong with your brain to have mental health issues."
On the topic of starting a family Amanda Seyfried added one more thought you've probably heard others say something similar to before: "I'm not ready but nobody's ready. It changes everything. So how you can ever be ready for that?"
You never really can, right? But, at least in my humble opinion, you can get to a point where you're ready to roll with the punches.
I'm not sure if I'd exactly call it my "biological clock" that was calling for babies, especially since I had my first at age 23, but I did clearly have a feeling that the time had arrived. It wasn't exactly a drive to have a baby, but more of a 'if we're going to do this whole having a family thing we may as well do it now' mentality.
In some ways jumping into parenthood early has been hard, but in other ways it's been great. I certainly don't envy those who are older and are worrying about their fertile years passing by.

A look at what more stars have had to say on the topic of longing for children:
Prince Harry: "Of course, I would love to have kids right now, but there's a process that one has to go through, and tours like this are great fun," the prince said. "Hopefully, I'm doing all right by myself. It would be great to have someone else next to me to share the pressure. But, you know, time will come, and whatever happens, happens." (PR Photos)
Charlize Theron in 2009, before adopting in 2012: “I’ve always known that I wanted to be a mom. I love children. I’ve always loved children. But I’m not like, ‘Oh my god, I really must have kids right now.’ I’ve never felt this pressing urge that some biological clock is ticking.” (PR Photos)
Luke Wilson: “Do men have a biological clock? I feel like I do. Something is definitely ticking!” (PR Photos)

Ellen Pompeo on going from newlyweds to parenthood: “We enjoy our life so much. We go to Europe and sleep in. So when I have the baby, I won’t feel like we’ve missed any fun, reckless times together, like staying up all night drinking champagne and having sex until five in the morning and not having to get up until two in the afternoon.”
”I’ve got to get on it,” she added, “Because the clock is ticking. It’s a huge lifestyle change, and I take that very seriously.” (PR Photos)
Perez Hilton two years before welcoming a son: “My clock is ticking. I definitely feel open and deserving of a quality relationship. And I also really want to have kids. I don’t necessarily need a partner for that; I can do that on my own. Adopting is great, but I want to have my own biological children."
"I guess that’s where the Latino in me comes out,” he added with a laugh. “When you have worked so hard for so long, your priorities shift. I think there are more important things in life than what you do for a living.” (PR Photos)
Carrie Underwood in 2009: "Someday I’d like to start a family. Not a big one, but not a small one either. Two kids is good. Three is fine. Four? Somebody’s getting something done, because we ain’t having five!” (PR Photos)
Tia Mowry on sister Tamera's second pregnancy: “We’re really excited to have a girl come into the family because we have two boys. She’s going to be so spoiled. I can’t wait — it’s definitely giving me baby fever. I think, ‘Okay, maybe I can do this again.’ ” (PR Photos)
Anne Hathaway on her 2013 goal: “I’ve had one goal in mind for the past 12 years, which is: get a movie, get a movie, get a movie. Now I might have to say: get a baby, get a baby, get a baby.” (PR Photos)
Janet Jackson in 2008 at age 41: “I get so much pressure from people I don’t even know and I think, ‘Am I missing the moment?” The singer added that she still feels like a child at heart, saying, “I’ve got to get a little more kid out of me first before I move on and be childish with my child.” (PR Photos)
Vince Vaughn in 2009, prior to welcoming two children: "I’ve been very fortunate in my career, and my life has been about that for so long that you get bored of it. You’re ready for your life to be about other people and other things." (PR Photos)
Adam Levine: "We're definitely going to do it. I want to have 100 kids. I want to have more kids than would be socially responsible. I don't know when we’re going to do it. We can't do it right now. I think it's absolutely in the works for some future date." (PR Photos)
Margaret Cho: "When I see children, I feel nothing. I have no maternal instinct...I ovulate sand." (PR Photos)
Vanessa Lachey: "I was telling somebody earlier today that men have a biological clock. [Nick]’s like, ‘Baby, I’m 40. We gotta get it moving.'” (PR Photos)
Ryan Reynolds in 2013, prior to welcoming daughter James with wife Blake Lively: "We'd love to have a big family. We both come from big families — my parents did four, Blake's did five. A lot of people say it's crazy, but we'll only know when we're there, you know? We'll walk through that fire pretty happily, I think." (PR Photos)
