A number of famous women have recently opened up about the rockiest moments in their relationships, all of which happened to occur during a pregnancy.

Just this week word broke that Mary-Louise Parker touched on the subject of her and Billy Crudup's 2003 split in her new memoir, Dear Mr. You. Although he isn't mentioned directly, the passage below appears to strongly reference the aftermath of the actress being left while 7-months-pregnant with their son -- for actress Claire Danes.

In the excerpt below the former Weeds star writes as though she's talking with a cab driver who tells her, "I don't want you anymore." This heartbreaking exchange then follows:

"No one does

My voice was shot and I barely got out

Look at me

You turned at looked, I think for the first time...

My life is worse than yours in this moment.

I wailed

I am alone. Look, see? I am pregnant and alone. It hurts to even breathe.

Your hand slowly went to your mouth

I’m trying to get through it but I’m by myself every night and every morning and no one, nothing helps. I’m sorry I yelled. I can’t get my shoes on anymore. Please, I know I am awful, it’s been made clear but look at me please

Look at me."

Claire Danes, who became a first-time mom in 2012, also recently spoke about the early days of her relationship with Billy Crudup to Howard Stern.

Referring to the judgement from the public she said, "That was a scary thing. That was really hard. I didn’t know how to not do that."

"I was just in love with him and needed to explore that," the 36-year-old went on to explain. "I was 24... I didn’t quite know what those consequences would be."

Claire and Billy broke up four years later. Reflecting on the experience she added, "But it’s okay....I went through it.”

Giselle Bundchen Tom Brady

Model mom Gisele Bundchen's early relationship with now-husband Tom Brady got dramatic when she discovered his former girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan, was pregnant with his child.

"It was a challenging thing because here I am, you know, thinking I'm dating this guy. We met, we started dating, everything is great, and then this happens so I felt I didn't know what to do," the woman who went on to welcome son Benjamin and daughter Vivian explained during an interview on CBS This Morning. She then pondered, "Do I just run away?"

"I think we've been through a few tough times together," Gisele went to say while reflecting on her marriage. "I think that's when you know who are your friends and who loves you. My father always said the quality of your life depends on the quality of your relationships, and I think, no matter how challenging it was, we've always been supportive of one another. I think that's the most important thing you can have in life, you know? A support system and love."

Speaking of Tom she added, "He's kind. He's a good man," and of her Bridget's 8-year-old son John, who Gisele is stepmom to, the model shared, "I couldn't have asked for a sweeter bonus child."

While Hollywood hookups and breakups make headlines all the time, it isn't often a pregnancy is involved and people are willing to talk about it. Reading these stars' words I'm struck by how emotional and confusing a time it was for all of them, even with the gift of hindsight now on their side.

What do you make of Mary-Louise Parker's book passage and Claire Danes' comments? Should Gisele Bundchen have run from Tom Brady?
