Big news from Bachelorette alum Emily Maynard: She's pregnant! (Yes, again!)

It was only last July that the 30-year-old reality star and her husband Tyler Johnson welcomed their son Jennings. Emily admitted that this pregnancy came sooner than expected, joking, "I guess I should’ve read that part in the baby handbook that says you’re super fertile after giving birth, huh?"

Emily is also mom to 10-year-old daughter Ricki, from her marriage to late NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick. He was tragically killed in a plane crash in 2004, shortly before their daughter was born.

With the new baby due around the time that Jennings turns 15 months old, it sounds like the soon-to-be mom-of-three is well aware that life is about to get pretty hectic.

"Practically speaking, I have a hard enough time getting through the grocery store with a 7-month-old and a 10-year-old! How in the world do you mamas do it with even more little ones?" wonders Emily, who is also the author of a new book titled, I Said Yes: My Story of Heartbreak, Redemption and True Love. "I’ve already come to terms that my body may never be the same as it was before, my house may never be as clean as it is now, and laundry may get put off a little longer."

That being said, Emily says she just can't wait to welcome the chaos.

"I truly couldn’t be more excited," she gushes. "I said about two weeks after Jennings was born that I couldn’t wait to have another, I just had no clue it would happen so quickly! Some of my closest friends have had a really hard time getting pregnant and my heart breaks for them, so I’m just so grateful for this blessing God has given our family."

Wow! Two kids under 1 1/2, and a preteen, too. Sounds like Emily will definitely have her hands full.

If I'd gotten a positive pregnancy test when my first was still an infant I think I would have gone into complete panic mode. I found that whole first year of motherhood to be so overwhelming with just the one to take care of.

The "perfect" spacing really seems to depend on the family, though. It took me four years before I felt somewhat ready for baby #2, but I know lots of moms who want to have another almost as soon as the first arrives.

Congratulations to Emily and her family on their very happy news. It sounds like they're up for the challenge!

Are your kids close in age, too?
