posted in CelebritiesThe wait is over for Kristin Cavallari and her husband Jay Cutler, as the former reality star took to Instagram today to announce the birth of their third child.
The happy news comes after what seemed to be a very long wait for the expectant mom. "Even my preggers shirt is too small," she captioned a recent shot of herself sporting a "Preggers" emblazoned T-shirt, along with telling caption, "#ReadyWheneverYouAreBaby."
She also enlisted her helpful hubby for a few foot massages, writing, "Let's see if these trigger points really work."
Well, it seems they did! Or maybe baby Cutler just decided she was finally ready to make her big debut.
Posting a picture of a sweet pink romper and headband just this afternoon, Kristin shared, "Saylor James Cutler was born today at 1:32pm!!"
Baby Saylor joins big brothers Jaxon Wyatt, 18 months, and Camden Jack, 3.
As for her unusual name, Kristin revealed that she and Jay fell in love with it years ago - thanks to a dog!
“We picked out this baby girl’s name when I was pregnant with our first,” the busy mama recently revealed. “I met a woman and her dog, and I loved her dog’s name. Funny enough, it was the name she had picked out if she had a girl, but she had boys, so she used it for her dog instead.”
No word on the inspiration behind her middle name, but that gender-bending pick has been a favorite of a few celebrities lately. Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively named their baby girl James earlier this year, and Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jessica Capshaw and model Coco Rocha all chose it as a middle name for their daughters, too.
Life is about to get even busier for Kristin and Jay, but it sounds like they're ready for it: “Having an infant is stressful, and I know I won’t get a lot of sleep initially, but it will be worth it,” she recently said. “Jay and I want our kids to be close in age, so they can have a tight bond. And we’ll get the diaper phase out of the way!”
Congratulations to them!
What do you think of the name Saylor James for a girl?
Trend alert! These celebs picked traditionally boys' names for their baby girls, too.
