posted in CelebritiesBritney Spears has officially been outed as a "Ciniman Toast Crunch" loving mom. The singer, who has two sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline, recently found herself an unwitting part of an unusual Ebay auction which made her hastily written grocery lists public fodder.
A seller took the liberty of putting six of the star's lists on the auction site, explaining, "these came from a well-respected music memorabilia company and are 100% genuine. I will include a copy of the listing page giving a general description of the lot."
It appears their auction was a success, with each of the scraps of paper selling for $59.99 with $14.99 in shipping charges.
Buyers were given their pick of Britney Spears's shopping lists, which read like a tour of the junk food aisle. Items include turkey bacon,"Cinamin" Toast Crunch, Cap'n Crunch, "gritz," Dr. Pepper, frozen pretzels, Wonderbread, "spaghetios," baby pizzas, ham, Velveeta, eggs and tomatoes ("big ones").
And all I can think at this moment is wow -- dancing really must do a body good!
While there were a few somewhat health-minded items on the list (I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, vanilla fat free ice cream, Silk vanilla milk), her grocery cart sounds like the stuff hungry kids dream about chowing down on. If that's what Britney eats as well I'm truly amazed she can keep such a trim figure. (And yes, jealous. I'll go ahead and cop to that right out of the gate.)
When I actually stop to make a grocery list for our family it's composed of the staples: eggs, milk, bread, tomatoes, salad, cereal, and such. Pretty boring stuff that I can't imagine anyone would take interest in reading -- but then again, Britney probably thought the same. How weird must it be to have your grocery lists turn up on Ebay and then make headlines?
How does your shopping list compare to Britney Spears'?
