Hilaria Baldwin's sexy pregnancy selfie has a positive message

Three babies in three years!

A week after Alec and Hilaria Baldwin announced that they're expecting again, the mom-to-be took to Instagram to share her first pregnancy selfie - and a message she thinks all women need to hear.

Posing in her lingerie, Hilaria, who is also mom to daughter Carmen, 2, and son Rafael, 8 months, and stepmom to Alec's 20-year-old daughter Ireland, proudly bares her growing bump.

Hilaria looks incredible - a yoga devotee, her Instagram feed is full of gravity-defying poses - but she admits that she, too, sometimes feels self-conscious about her pregnant shape.

In the caption to the sexy selfie, the 32-year-old writes that she writes that she's determined to celebrate her new curves rather than hide them away.

"And we begin the journey again! #BaldwinBabyBump3 I posted belly photos every two weeks when I was pregnant with Rafa. I didn't have the guts to do it the first time around with Carmen. The purpose? To show that we don't need to be ashamed or hide the pregnant figure. These are common emotions in our society that elevates a thin body above all else. Being my third baby in three years, I am a true believer that our bodies are amazing, and we should celebrate them, rather than feel embarrassed and hide until the baby weight is entirely gone. For both women and men: we create life...so let's honor how we make these miracles. Every pregnancy is different, so we shall see what happens this time around, ready to take the journey with me? Deep breath, pressing 'share'..."

It's a great message. It may be tempting to shrug off Hilaria's celebratory selfie - after all, if I looked like she does I'd probably be more willing to strip down, too. But I think we all have our insecurities, we all have those "flaws" that may be invisible to others but that scream at us from the bathroom mirror.

Any message of self-acceptance, that promotes positive and healthy body image, is one that I'm happy to hear.
