Anne Hathaway's baby dreams are about to come true! It's being reported the actress is gearing up to be a first-time mom, and is currently pregnant with her and husband Adam Shulman's first child.

“Anne is in her second trimester and feeling great,” a source revealed to E! News, pointing to recent photo of the Oscar winner as further proof the pregnancy news is the real deal.

Anne Hathaway (who is pictured here in late September) has made it no secret she's been longing to start a family.

“I’ll start with one healthy kid but I’d like to have a few naturally and adopt. I gotta get on it, you know?” she told The Telegraph in 2012. “I’d like to have as many as I can afford, not just financially but in terms of time, because you want to make sure each one feels special.”

“I want to be a mother, and I anticipate loving my children quite fiercely,” the star added to Vogue in 2013. “I think about it all the time, though it’s a silly thing to think about because the kind of mother I’ll be depends on the kind of children I have. I can’t wait to meet them.”

Isn't that sweet? I've been waiting to here a Hathaway-Shulman baby announcement for a while now, hoping their dreams of welcoming a child into the world would come true.

For me, when baby fever did strike it was pretty intense. That, coupled with discovering we were able to conceive surprisingly quickly meant I had a baby in my arms about 10 months after first feeling the urge. I'm glad, of course, to have not had any trouble getting pregnant, but wow -- it was also a whirlwind!

I imagine that having baby two might somehow take longer, but again I got a positive pregnancy test back in a matter of weeks, and now you know why my boys are just 20 months apart. It took twice to learn our lesson, and since the desire for baby three never really manifested we opted for a vasectomy and labeled ourselves done.

How long was it between you first wanted a baby and when you first became a parent?
