Still struggling to come up with your Halloween costume this year? Me too.
I fall seriously short when it comes to costume inspiration. I've got my kids covered, but I never have a clue what to do for myself. I inevitably end up digging through the dress-up drawer 10 minutes before it's time to head out the door for trick-or-treating. In recent years I've been a lackluster cowgirl, a paltry pirate, an uninspired fortune teller.
Truth be told, I don't really love dressing up. But my two daughters love it when I do, so it's one of those things I've decided to grin and bear. This year, though, I want to come up with something a little more impressive.
If, like me, you're still looking for an idea never mind an outfit, the good news is that we've still got plenty of time to throw something together. The better news? Celebrity parents have come through with some fun and freaky Halloween inspiration.

There are a lot of great costumes here, but I think we have to declare How I Met Your Mother star Alyson Hannigan the queen of Halloween - especially when it comes to family outfits. So creative!
