posted in CelebritiesKristin Cavallari is all set to welcome her first baby girl into the world, and in fact has had her daughter's name picked out for quite some time. It turns out the former reality star, who is expecting her third child with husband Jay Cutler, is actually borrowing baby girl's name from a four-legged friend.
Speaking to Cricket’s Circle the 28-year-old explained, "We picked out this baby girl’s name when I was pregnant with our first. I met a woman and her dog, and I loved her dog’s name. Funny enough, it was the name she had picked out if she had a girl, but she had boys, so she used it for her dog instead."
If you're curiosity is now piqued, I have bad news. Kristin Cavallari hasn't yet shared exactly what this gem of a dog/baby name actually is!
Still, we do know this celebrity mom isn't afraid to get a little creative and doesn't want anything too popular. Before naming their second child Jaxon, Kristin spoke about how they nearly missed out on firstborn Camden's name.
“I’m not even sure where we heard [Camden], but we both really liked it," she explained. "Jay’s sister has a little boy that’s about 2 years old, so they’re a little bit ahead of us. We had picked out Camden and then they had told us, ‘Guess what our baby name is? Camden.’ And we were like, ‘We want that name!’ Which was so funny, because it’s not really that common of a name, but they ended up luckily going with a different one, so we got to use it.”
And when her ex, Nick Lachey, chose the same name for his son Kristen tweeted, "Apparently Camden is a popular name!" She then added, "By the way, that wasn’t a b**chy tweet at all. I obviously love the name and I’m glad other people do too."
We knew our firstborn child's name was semi-popular but didn't feel too bothered by that fact. For our second son we went out on a limb a bit further, and fittingly enough for this post we just discovered the neighbor's chose our son's name for their new puppy.
Our dog's name is Amos, which I'm quite fond of, but after saying it a hundred times to call him we discovered it sounds a little too close to "anus" for our liking. Needless to say we didn't go with it for either of our kids.
Any guesses on what Kristin Cavallari's baby name pick is? What do you think of using a dog's name for your child? Share with us by leaving a comment below!
