There's one serious hiccup in Kim Kardashian's plans to have more kids with husband Kanye West. Opening up about their thoughts on family size, the reality star recently told Ellen DeGeneres about the time she tried to watch her sister Kourtney's kids along with her own daughter, North.
"Well, I just went to San Diego and to give my pregnant sister a break," she explained. "I took care of my niece, nephew and my daughter. To bathe them all three, feed them, get them in the pajamas and down for bed I was literally, like, crying. It was so hard. Three kids. I don't know how my mom did it with six. So, it was really, really hard."
Using that learning experience as a gauge for how much she and Kanye might be able to handle, Kim added, "So, I'll go for two --but then again I have so many siblings and I love it. They're my best friends. I would want that for my kids. So I'm going to do two and see how it is."
The problem is, Kim Kardashian's desire for more kids does not match up with her feelings toward more pregnancies.
"It was not a beautiful thing with me," she said of her time expecting North West. "People are lying to you [when they say you get a pregnancy glow]. Kourtney looks so beautiful pregnant. She has the best pregnancy style. I couldn't figure it out and I'm just dreading when I have to figure it out again."
Maybe she made a few missteps, but was Kim Kardashian's maternity style really that bad?
I find Kim's take on pregnancy and family size slightly amusing, because it's the opposite of mine.
You see, although I feel I'm maxed out with bringing up just two kids, I wouldn't mind doing pregnancy again. I'm not crazy with longing for it, but if the right set of circumstances came about (perhaps someone I knew needing a surrogate) I'd seriously consider it.
Has how you feel about pregnancy impacted your family's size? How so?
