Neil Patrick Harris' kids have extreme palates

Raise your hand if you have a picky eater at home...

You know who definitely is not waving his hands in the air right now? Neil Patrick Harris.

While the rest of us are struggling to break through our kids' two preferred food groups of chicken nuggets and Goldfish crackers, Neil Patrick Harris' twins Gideon and Harper are happily scarfing down platefuls of raw oysters.

Harper's favorite foods reportedly include oysters, sardines, prosciutto, capers and - wait for it - duck liver, while her brother is partial to clams, sushi and octopus.

“Their palates are amazing. Their favorite foods are oysters on the half-shell; they love any raw fish,” Neil tells PEOPLE of his 5-year-olds. “We ordered grilled octopus recently and I didn’t even get a single bite.”

A look at the actor's Instagram feed shows that he really isn't exaggerating. Here's little Gideon finishing up a plate of sashimi. And here's their delicious dinner of black spaghetti with sea urchin and green chiles.

Do you know what my kids had for dinner last night? Plain cheese quesadillas and raw carrots. Again.

Now, NPH is at somewhat of an advantage because his handsome husband David Burtka just happens to be a professional chef who seems to regularly whip up very impressive, very delicious meals for the family.

“I don’t have to do too much cooking," the Emmy-winner admits. "I tend to be the sous chef and washer of dishes."

David and Neil have clearly got mealtimes figured out. The rest of us will just have to keep on trying.

And while we do, at least we can know we're not alone...

Alanis Morissette goes nude (and underwater!) for pregnancy pic

Alanis Morissette has gone nude to show off her baby bump -- as well as underwater!

Check out the incredible photo the 42-year-old, who is currently expecting her second child with husband Mario “Souleye” Treadway, posted to Instagram by clicking here.

Alanis let their son Ever do the honor of captioning the shot. She quotes their 5-year-old sweetie as saying, "you have to be extra gentle around ladies because they are the most helpful people in the world 'cause they make persons."

You can also check out a photo of the singer glowing, with clothes on, getting hugs from her husband and son here.

Though Alanis Morissette looks like a serene, pregnant goddess in her photo, motherhood has had its challenges for her.

After describing giving birth to Ever as "beyond pain," she wrote about being completely surprised by life as a new mom:

"No one told me about postpartum. And when they did, their shared recollections were semi-hazy and greatest hits-esque. They made the after-the-baby-is-born era sound somewhat idyllic, if they remembered it at all. So, as I was wont to do, I put their stories together, composite-style, into a fantasy that included bursting into blissful tears, buoyed by clouds and surrounded by cherub angels gushing how the lil’ one’s lips were his father’s and his deep contemplative gaze mine. Cue record scratching sound."

Later, Alanis opened up about going through postpartum depression for a period of 15 months. After reading about the severity of how she felt during that time, I can't help but wonder if she's a little nervous to welcome baby two.

I suppose there's no way she isn't concerned, but hopefully this time around she will be helped by knowing what to expect. And if things are tough, I hope she now has the ability to seek help and has a support team ready to have her back.

How much did your birth and post-birth experience influence your willingness to have another child?

When Matthew McConaughey first saw Camila: "What is that?"

It was love at first sight for Matthew McConaughey -- but not necessarily for his wife, Camila Alves.

The famous couple, who are now the parents of three adorable children, have opened up about life at home and how they first met.

The actor takes the lead in this story, telling People, "I was very happily single and healthily single. I was not looking. I was sleeping well, I was spiritually sound, I was good hanging with me."

And then, while hanging out having margaritas, he saw Camila Alves.

"Out of the corner of my eye, this sort of aqua-green figure went floating across the frame about 20 feet in front of me," the 46-year-old explained.

"My eye went up and I remember what came out of my mouth. I didn't say 'Who is that?' I went, 'What is that?' As l was trying to get that's attention across the room, I went in my head, 'This is not the kind of woman you call over across the room, McConaughey. Get your ass out of your chair and go get her.' Which I did."

Though Matthew McConaughey didn't say how Camila reacted that fateful margarita night, he did elaborate that he's always loved: "The self-respect she had, the way I understood her and her relationship with family, the way she respected me but never took anything for granted, not putting on any airs whatsoever."

The father of Levi, Vida and Livingston added, "We went on our first date three nights later and I knew then … I've been wanting to go on a date with her for the last nine years and not with anybody else."

Swoon a bit, right? Sweet goodness, I think that feeling is truly what it's all about.

I've never been one to believe in soul mates, destiny or the like, but gosh darnit, my spouse and I continue to (mostly) want to hang out with each other. We just plain like one another. Sometimes it's a bit more romantic, sometimes it's a bit more of a companionship level, sometimes we're in cahoots, and sometimes it takes a lot of effort -- but after nearly 14 years of marriage we just keep choosing each other.

That being said, we have a funny/sweet "how we first met" story, I suppose. It's nothing near as romantic as Matthew and Camila's, but it can put a smile on a face all the same. You see, husband and I went to the same elementary school, and in fact have pictures of ourselves in second and fifth grade classes together.

The honest truth is I have no memory of him until fifth grade, and only at that point called him my "crush" because I knew he was moving to a different school the next year and wouldn't be pressured into having to actually talk to him. A million years later (or, late in our senior year of high school, to be exact) we finally shared class again and then all of a sudden it was a done deal. He and I, him and me.

I suppose then, in that sense, I do kind of get seeing someone (even if not at first sight) and feeling pulled to them.

What was the first time you saw your partner like?
