Kourtney Kardashian posts funny co-sleeping throwback pic

Time flies when you're having fun. Or, in Kourtney Kardashian's case, when you're trapped under the weight of a sleeping toddler.

The reality mom-of-three shared a funny snap on Instagram this week that shows that even she has some less-than-glamorous moments. The shot, captioned simply "Throwback," shows a make-up-free, messy-haired Kourtney sound asleep in bed. Her diaper-clad son Mason, then just a baby, is also in the photo, sprawled sleepily across his mom. (See the sweet photo here.)

Now that's reality!

This isn't the first time that Kourtney, who has kids Mason, 6, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 1, with her ex Scott Disick, has given us a glimpse into her life as a co-sleeping mama. A couple of years ago she shared another shot of her sharing her bed with Mason and his little sister Penelope, with tiny feet and fists sticking out in every direction.

Kourtney has long been an outspoken advocate of the family bed. Not long after Mason's birth, the 36-year-old told Parenting magazine, “If I’ve had a long day, then I have that time at night, which is really important to me. He’s such a happy baby, and I really think sleeping together has something to do with that.”

While Kourtney's far from the only celebrity co-sleeper (see below!), there are some famous moms who aren't on board. Take Kelly Clarkson, who is expecting her second child: "A friend of mine was like, 'Our kid sleeps with us every night; it's this whole new way of life,' which is great for her," the singer recently revealed. "But in my world, we're sleeping. I don't want my kid rolling over and hitting me in the face. That's not good sleep."

Ryan Reynolds picked a wildly inappropriate delivery room jam

Blake Lively had to learn the hard way not to let her husband, Ryan Reynolds, be in charge of the labor and delivery room soundtrack.

During a recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, the father of sweet little James explained, "I jammed a little Marvin Gaye’s 'Let’s Get It On.'"

And Blake's reaction? The Deadpool star had to admit: "It was like steak knives came out of her eyes."

The beautiful actress reportedly said, "Are you f***ing sh***ing me right now?" Which the first-time dad now can see was "real bad, yeah." Though he adds, "She was a mercenary. I think I just caught her right in the middle of a contraction."

Delivery room hijinks aside, Ryan Reynolds is absolutely, 100 percent head over heels for his wife and daughter -- and he sincerely hopes they'll welcome more little girls in the future.

"If I could have nine daughters, I would be thrilled," he recently said during an interview on SiriusXM EW Radio.

"Really, like I genuinely would be. My brothers and I, there’s four of us, we would destroy the house. I was 8 and I could patch and drywall at 8. We could actually repair an entire hole in the wall in our house within 15 minutes. That’s part of the reason I don’t want boys, because I don’t want a wiffle house. I just want the house to be normal."

Though I find Ryan's love for daughters endearing, I'm pretty sure that once you get five kids of any sex in a house things get pretty rambunctious! For my two sons, the wildness is confined to just one 30-45 minute period most days -- right at bedtime. Drives me absolutely insane that they turn into crazy wrestling monkeys every night, but I hope someday they'll have fond memories of pajama-clad shenanigans to look back on.

As for that song, all I can say is Ryan's story makes me laugh (because he and Blake seem to share the same sense of humor), but it's a good thing my husband didn't try any antics when I was in the midst of a contraction. I love a good joke too, but in the middle of feeling like my body is splitting apart my funny bone mysteriously seems to go missing.

Kim Kardashian: Having two kids "really is so hard"

Everybody warned her that baby #2 would mean a lot more work, but Kim Kardashian-West admits she didn't really get it... until now.

With her son Saint now 2 months old, the reality star admits that she's finding the adjustment to two kids pretty tough.

“I’m up at 4 a.m., pumping and delirious, hiding in my daughter’s closet because if she sees I snuck out of her bed, she will start to cry," reads Kim's recent blog post. "My mom would always say, about having kids: 'One is like one, and two are like twenty.' I never really understood that until now."

It's not just the demands of a newborn that are keeping Kim up at night: "Every waking second that I’m not with the baby, I’m with North," she adds of her 2-year-old daughter North. "I actually think the harder parts aren’t with the newborn but with the toddler! I feel like I go into overdrive to give my daughter attention and make her feel loved."

Kim says that her husband Kanye West has been helping out, but it's still a challenge meeting the needs of a family-of-four.

"Of course, I expected it to be different but, wow, it really is so hard!" she says. "When I had North, all I did was feed and sleep. This time around, I get no sleep."

I found the adjustment to my first baby to be much harder than it was with the second. Baby #2 definitely means less sleep - good luck "napping when the baby naps" when you have a preschooler running around the house - but at least I had some idea what to expect. I knew what it felt like to be up all night, to console a constantly crying infant. And the second time around I knew that those very tough first weeks and months wouldn't last forever. Having that perspective made a big difference.

The spacing between kids likely has a lot to do with how hard that transition is. My oldest was 4 years old when her sister was born: Old enough to get herself dressed, to have a little patience, to help out with the baby. Had she been 2 at the time, our experience probably would have been vastly different!

As for Kim, for now she's taking it day by day and hoping that things will settle into a new normal before too long.

"I know we will soon get into the perfect groove and just figure it out. My mom did, my sister did — and I will, too," she says.

Alanis Morissette has a beautiful message for fans far and wide to both hear and watch. The singer, who is mom to 5-year-old son Ever with husband Mario "Souleye" Treadway, has announced her second pregnancy with the help of a song and animation renditions of her growing family.

Isn't that sweet? I love the way the video gives us a look at how Alanis and Souleye first met, and how their relationship has blossomed over the years.

Sharing the video on her Facebook page the 41-year-old wrote Friday, "The story of my nuclear family in moving pictures, brings us up to this sweet moment."

A note on Alanis Morissette's personal site also explains the song was "written, recorded and produced in 6 hours on may 22, 2010 with guy sigsworth, on the sly, to surprise Souleye. Brendan Huza helped tell our story in moving pictures, bringing us up to this sweet moment. may this song take on ever-deepening meaning as each year goes by. xoxo"

I'm a little fuzzy on the timeline of how the song was recorded on their wedding day, which was 7 months before Ever's birth, and when the moving pictures were added in (I wonder if they'll update it after baby two is born?) -- but I love it all the same.
