20 celebs reveal the truth behind their odd baby name picks

Moxie Crimefighter, Audio Science, Apple. It's no secret that folks in Hollywood are partial to baby names that leave the rest of us scratching our heads.

Year after year we add more monikers to the already long list of unusual celebrity baby names as famous moms and dads welcome their adorable little Bear Blazes and Zuma Nesta Rocks.

Well, if you've ever heard a celebrity baby name pick and simply wondered, "WHY?!," we are here to answer that question.

From Kate Winslet to Blake Lively, some of our favorite famous parents explain below why, of all the names in the entire world to choose from, they ended up settling on that?

There are a few really interesting stories in there. I can definitely understand wanting to pick a name that honors a family member, or being influenced toward an unusual name by a childhood friend.

Of all of the explanations above, though, I think Jessica Alba's touched me the most. The story of how she and her husband Cash Warren named their daughter Haven is surprisingly sweet.

For all of my questioning, I actually don't mind unique names at all. Haven, Ever, Story: All of those picks may be a bit unusual, they may not be exactly my taste, but they're actually quite lovely in their own way.

Every once in a while, though, a baby name crosses the line from interesting to downright odd. I can't help but wonder how Moroccan Cannon will feel about being named after a room in his mom's apartment, or if Audio Science one day will wish his mom had browsed through a baby name book instead of a dictionary after all.

Jennifer Love Hewitt & 5 more stars on breastfeeding mishaps

Jennifer Love Hewitt isn't trying to make a fashion statement by wearing a scarf in summertime, she's simply in the midst of a mommy mishap. The actress, who welcomed her second child with husband Brian Hallisay in June, recently had a laugh about leaking through her dress on Twitter.

Posting a photo of herself smiling while wearing a black scarf to cover her chest she wrote, "Ventured out for first business lunch since baby boy arrived. Lactated through silk jumpsuit mid meeting. Had to buy scarf for dignified exit. #hotelgiftshop #mommylife."

Jennifer Love Hewitt is, of course, not alone in having suffered a breastfeeding mishap. Take a look at what a few famous moms have shared about their own uh-oh moments...

1. Merly Streep on leaking at the Golden Globe Awards: “I was there for [the 1979 film] Kramer vs. Kramer just after giving birth to my first child. In those days they didn’t lend dresses and I didn’t have any money to buy something so I wore my wedding dress. It was a perfectly nice white silk dress, but the luncheon went on and I was breastfeeding and two o’clock came, three o’clock came and ‘boom,’ I started to lactate! In a white silk dress!”

Realizing that Rebecca was more than ready to feed the babies — and had subsequently started to leak milk — Jerry laughs that the couple had to "skedaddle out of there!"

5. Ali Landry: "I’m pumping the gas, I hear her crying. I lean over her car seat to nurse, hoping no one would see. My husband gets back in the car – he thinks I’m done pumping the gas, starts the car, takes off. We rip the gas pump off the hose. A couple thousand dollars later, at least my baby was happy and fed!"

Leaking in public is a been-there, done-that topic for me. One day at the grocery store I kept noticing I was getting funny looks but didn't pay them much mind. It wasn't until I pushed the cart outside and a fresh, cool breeze flitted across my damp shirt I realized what was going on. Oops! I had been wearing nursing pads, but sometimes the cups simply runneth over all the same.

Kim Kardashian may need a hysterectomy after son's birth

Kim Kardashian is hopeful she's going to make it through her second pregnancy without developing preeclampsia again, but there's another condition worrying her and her doctors.

The mother of North West, who is due to deliver her and husband Kanye West's son in December, has opened up about her struggles to conceive, maternity style, and whether or not more kids are in their future. Take a look at some of what the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality star shared with C Magazine...

Kim Kardashian on trying for baby two: "It was over a year of trying, and I had so many complications. I had this condition called placenta accreta. There were a couple of little operations to fix all that, so that created a little hole in my uterus, which I think made it really tough to get pregnant again. It was a long road. I would go to the doctor in Beverly Hills every day at five in the morning to get tested to see if I was ovulating. I was trying everything: I did acupuncture and got a nutritionist to eat healthier, thinking that was an issue.

Sex on the ovulation schedule: "Yes, it takes the fun out of it. I’m like, 'I’m ovulating, get home now!' He’d be like, 'Wait, I’m in the studio.'"

Figuring out her maternity style: “The first time I was pregnant, Kanye and I were dating and I was just being introduced to the world of fashion. I wanted to work with a bunch of different stylists, and when you work with a new stylist, everyone wants to possess your look. They wanted me in really outrageous things, and really fashion-y things. It probably wasn’t the time to be experimenting. After that, Kanye and I were just like, 'Let’s do it ourselves.' It was mainly him figuring it out; what my look was and what I was comfortable in. So now I’ve had two years to really come into my own and have my own style.

For this pregnancy, I’m definitely more simple. I figured out a formula of what works. And I also feel lucky that as of right now, I don’t feel like I’m gonna get preeclampsia again, which last time [contributed to] not only the weight, but also the swelling that everyone would make fun of, not understanding that I had this condition."

Whether they’ll stop at two kids: "Well, they think I’ll have placenta accreta again, so if the placenta grows a little bit deeper than it did last time, then they are prepared to have my uterus removed, which is a little scary for me. I think we’re just gonna go day by day, see how overwhelming it is, and see how the delivery goes."

I've heard of placenta previa (when the placenta is lying unusually low in your uterus, next to or covering your cervix) before, but accreta is new to me. Here's what the BabyCenter Expert Advice page has to say about the condition:

Women who have placenta previa are also more likely to have a placenta that's implanted too deeply and that doesn't separate easily at delivery. This is called placenta accreta. Placenta accreta can cause massive bleeding and the need for multiple blood transfusions at delivery. It can be life threatening and may require a hysterectomy to control the bleeding.

I'm well aware Kim Kardashian isn't a celebrity people easily feel sympathy for, but this seems genuinely scary. It sounds to me as though pregnancy is particularly hard on Kim's body, and I feel for her. It has to be hard not only knowing you will likely give birth with this condition, but adjusting to the idea another pregnancy could be life-threatening.

My heart goes out to her, as well as to anyone else dealing with such complications.
