Amanda Seyfried worries her "eggs are dying off"

Amanda Seyfried is hoping she'll join the motherhood club very soon. The actress, who has been dating fellow star Justin Long since 2013, has opened up about how she's itching to start a family -- and it's safe to say she's got a bad case of baby fever.

"I keep feeling like my eggs are dying off," the 29-year-old Les Miserables beauty told Marie Claire UK. "I need to get on it. I want a child. Badly. I want to be a mother, badly. That's what I feel. I've been feeling it for like, two years."

Luckily, she's got a professional on hand to talk those feelings through with.

"It's coping with life. I've been told to not talk about it, but [anxiety] is so very common," the Ted 2 actress explained of her pro-therapy approach. "I just think, you go to your doctor about heart problems, or an eye doctor if you have an infection, you have to take care of yourself. Mental health is so segregated, it sucks. You don't necessarily have to have something chemically wrong with your brain to have mental health issues."

On the topic of starting a family Amanda Seyfried added one more thought you've probably heard others say something similar to before: "I'm not ready but nobody's ready. It changes everything. So how you can ever be ready for that?"

You never really can, right? But, at least in my humble opinion, you can get to a point where you're ready to roll with the punches.

I'm not sure if I'd exactly call it my "biological clock" that was calling for babies, especially since I had my first at age 23, but I did clearly have a feeling that the time had arrived. It wasn't exactly a drive to have a baby, but more of a 'if we're going to do this whole having a family thing we may as well do it now' mentality.

In some ways jumping into parenthood early has been hard, but in other ways it's been great. I certainly don't envy those who are older and are worrying about their fertile years passing by.

Jim Carrey's vaccine stance has people all fired up

Jim Carrey is trying to speak out about his vaccination concerns without being labeled anti-vax, but his messages aren't going over very well.

A look at a recent string of tweets from the actor sent June 30:

California Gov says yes to poisoning more children with mercury and aluminum in manditory vaccines. This corporate fascist must be stopped.

They say mercury in fish is dangerous but forcing all of our children to be injected with mercury in thimerosol is no risk. Make sense?

I am not anti-vaccine. I am anti-thimerosal, anti-mercury. They have taken some of the mercury laden thimerosal out of vaccines. NOT ALL!

The CDC can’t solve a problem they helped start. It’s too risky to admit they have been wrong about mercury/thimerasol. They are corrupt.

Go to http://traceamounts.com watch the documentary and judge for yourselves. If you really care about the kids you will. It’s shocking!

Seemingly in response to those who tweeted disagreement with him, Jim Carrey continued on July 1:

The actor's tweets are apparently in response to a mandatory vaccination bill California Governor Jerry Brown signed just this week, which means it is no longer “optional” to vaccinate your children. Only those with a medical exemption will be excused.

"The science is clear that vaccines dramatically protect children against a number of infectious and dangerous diseases," Brown wrote. "While it’s true that no medical intervention is without risk, the evidence shows that immunization powerfully benefits and protects the community."

In the last year, with a rise in the number of measles cases, there's been a push back against the anti-vax movement, and the public seems finally ready to accept scientists' word the vaccines are safe. There are some, however, who are obviously not yet fully convinced. As someone who is not particularly scientifically minded I've always found the vaccination debate to be a bit daunting, and that's exactly why I chose to rely on the word of my kids' doctor rather than anyone else's. This morning I saw one commenter say something along the same lines, like, "Thanks but I won't be getting my medical advice from Ace Ventura," which I have to admit did make me laugh.

I don't truly think that just because someone's an actor it means they can't also be knowledgeable in other fields, but in this instance I'm still going with the experts who research this kind of thing full time.

Supermodel turned super mom!

Sports Illustrated model Anne Vyalitsyna - also known simply as Anne V - and her boyfriend, Yahoo! exec Adam Cahan, welcomed their first child on Thursday, June 25.

The 29-year-old, who was more than a week past her due date, posted a sweet picture of her hands cradling an impossibly tiny, wrinkled foot to Instagram yesterday, writing, “Welcome to the world baby Alaska! Your little feet absolutely rocked my world, I've never been so in love! @acahan and I couldn't be more proud 6/25/2015."

Alaska may seem an unusual choice, but in fact Anne and Adam nailed two very hot baby name trends with their pick.

First, and most obviously, they jumped aboard the place-based name trend. This one is particularly hot in Hollywood, where we've seen babies named Bronx, Egypt, London. The list goes on, take a look...

Alaska also fits the gender neutral name category quite nicely. In fact, because Anne V didn't specify in her post whether the new arrival was a boy or a girl some of her fans were left guessing.

Her second photo may have cleared that mystery up, though. That post shows Anne pushing a stroller covered by a pink polka dot blanket, leading many to conclude that it's a girl.

Gender neutral baby names are a growing trend, and not just among celebrity parents. So much so that BabyCenter's own baby name experts have already declared 2015 the year of the gender neutral baby: “As usual, baby names are reflecting a larger cultural shift,” says BabyCenter’s Global Editor in Chief Linda Murray. “Millennials are an open-minded and accepting group, and they don’t want their children to feel pressured to conform to stereotypes that might be restrictive."

Alaska probably wouldn't make my baby name shortlist, but it's far from the wildest name we've heard from folks in Hollywood! Congratulations to Anne V and Adam on their growing family!

Michael Bublé's son doing well after being hospitalized for burns

They had quite a scare, but singer Michael Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato are relieved to report that their almost 2-year-old son Noah is on the mend.

According to reports, Luisana and the adorable toddler were at home in Argentina when he had an accident involving hot water that resulted in a trip to the hospital, where he was treated for burns.

Though she didn't share any details, the 28-year-old actress did update her millions of Facebook fans on little Noah's condition on June 25, a day after the frightening incident occurred: "Thank you all for joining me even in these moments!" she wrote. "My son is very well. God willing soon we will return home."

Michael also opened up about Noah's recovery, telling ET Canada, "He is okay. It's tough to see him go through it. I try to remind Lu that we are Lucky. That it could have been worse."

It sounds like he's doing well, all things considered. What a relief!

It's always so scary when your baby suffers an accident, and somehow it seems even more torturous when it happens on your watch.

My oldest daughter still has the scar where her tooth busted clear through her lip as she toppled off the step stool, knocking her chin on the way down. Then there was the requisite roll of the bed - the first time she ever rolled, I swear! And that awful day, the thought of which still makes me cringe, when she fell down an entire flight of stairs.

It's amazing, and terrifying, how quickly these things can happen, even when you're right there with them.

As for Noah, he's no doubt back up and dancing already. Take a look at this super cute video dad Michael posted not too long ago of their Disney-approved dance party for two.
